Our Mission:

To help women, teens, children and families achieve economic independence and family well-being.

PathWays PA has been Greater Philadelphia's foremost provider of residential and community-based services for the past 37 years. We help over 4,500 homeless and low-income women, children, teens and families become self-sufficient each year.

Our core services include:

Children & Family Services and Programs:

Residential Facilities: Our  shelters provide long-term care for homeless women, children. We work with the women to pursue their education; secure stable job employment; enhance their parenting and life skills with trained specialists; and ensure the safe physical, emotional and social development of the children.

Girls SHElter: This residential facility provides shelter for homeless and runaway teen girls and runaway prevention and intervention services while the staff works to reconnect them with their families.

Project Peace: This program works with teen mothers in our community to connect them with community resources while helping them become better parents with parenting and life skills training.


Self-Sufficiency & Advocacy Programs and Services:

Adult Education: We offer GED/ABE prep courses and adult education tutoring for low-income families and individuals.

Financial Education: This program offers financial literacy workshops and counseling for low-income families and individuals so that they can learn to become self-sufficient.

Employment Training: Our healthcare partnerships allows us to help low-income workers enhance their skill set in healthcare related fields so that they can increase their earning value.

HeroesPath:  Through HeroesPath we assist Veterans in transitioning from the service to the civilian life and civilian workforce through a combination of education, job training, career coaching, and case management.

Policy & Research: This department encourages financial self-sufficiency through research and advocacy to benefit low-income workers and families statewide.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance: Our agency offers free tax preparation for low-income families and individuals so that they can get the most money possible back in tax refunds while learning about different savings and credit options.
