Patrik's Quest to Stay Sober

I'm freshly out of rehab as of 7 months ago. I was in county jail before that for shoplifting. I did 10.5 months for that crime and can definitely say I learned my lesson. Since successfully completed the six months rehab I started my own business of window washing which was really starting to take off. Then, I dislocated my shoulder (actually, my top rib, my collarbone and my scapula) ripping two muscles completely loose from the bone. My work was finished. I could not use my right arm for a minimum of two months in order for it to heal. Needless to say, I ended up losing my house along with all my furniture. I have held onto my car but, if I don't make some payments real soon I will lose it as well. I cannot afford the insurance or gas for it so, I am out pumping my business on foot. My shoulder has healed somewhat so I am trying to make money again but, being on foot and homeless is not helping matters. I really don't want to end up back "on the streets" as I am offered on a regular basis to "get high" or "have a drink" which are both very tempting but, so far I've been able to hold my ground. But, I am afraid I will not always be able to do so. It gets harder every day. Well, that's my story. I've been as straight up and honest as I possibly can. I really hope I can get just a little bit of help until I get my feet under me. Thank you for your time and consideration. Respectfully, Patrik Funston
