Paul Ojwala for MCA
Organized by: Daniel Miesel
Join us in sustainably improving a whole community near Kisumu, Kenya, Africa. How? By funding the campaign of Paul Ojwala to become a Member of County Assembly (MCA). Why? The present MCA has at his disposal around $1,000,000 for construction of rural roads, bridges, school, hospitals, water provision, and sanitation facilities. The money is disappearing but no improvements are happening.
Why Paul Ojwala?
1. His history of giving his own time and money for his community.
a. Starting Happy Kenya, a local organization to engage troubled youth in soccer, teaching people about personal health and hygiene, facilitating access to clean water instead of disease-carrying water.
b. Being an active member of the Lion's Club, again providing clean water, planting trees, and educating youth.
2. His work experience, which also helped his community.
a. Lately project manager for Kenya Water for Health Organization (KWAHO) overseeing large water installation projects and teaching water sterilization methods to communities.
b. Former owner of different small businesses including a butchery, a restaurant, and wholesale of fish.
3. His personal life of integrity.
a. Family man with one wife and 5 children (one adopted).
b. Faith that is consistently walked, talked, and lived.
Our personal interactions with Paul and his family for months at a time in his home over the last 5 years give us the absolute confidence to support him and to ask for the support of others too.
How will donations be used? To campaign effectively Paul will need pamphlets, posters, banners, travel expenses to meet voters and make speeches, etc., etc.
By assisting Paul Ojwala to get elected as Member of County Assembly, we will make a long range and lasting change in his area, which will be an example to other areas of Kenya. He will be able to direct the hundreds of thousands of government funds to actually benefit his community instead of personal bank accounts. The fundraising goal is $16,500.USD
