Team BlueLine is an organization that supports the families of law enforcement officers who have selflessly given their lives in the line of duty.
My first experience with the BlueLine was when I asked the police officer at the school I work at what the black ribbon with the blue stripe meant that he wore on his badge. He explained to me it was in support of law enforcement officers that had been injured in the line of duty. I thought this was a very special thing. Then the same day I was approached to be on the team, I saw a post on Facebook from a friend whose husband was a police officer and the beautiful custom wooden flag with the blue ribbon on it that they hung above the sofa in his honor. With this being said, I knew I had to do my part. To race for those who can not and to give back. I race quite a bit, but now it is time to give back. To support someone who can not race. Please help with this mission to support all wounded and/or deceased police officers.
