BENEFITING: SUSAN G. KOMEN MASSACHUSETTS
This is my 10th anniversary of being cancer free! 2005-2006 was a very difficult time for my family and me. While I have recovered, my younger sister was not as fortunate. She lost her battle to this terrible disease in 2012 leaving behind her husband and three teenaged children. I miss her every day.
The Komen Massachusetts Race for the Cure celebrates its 23rd anniversary in 2015! Through funds raised by our Race participants, Komen Massachusetts has contributed to funding more than $68 million in breast cancer research, local education, screening and treatment. Every dollar raised by Race for the Cure makes a lasting impact in the fight against breast cancer.
Did you know that Massachusetts has the second highest incidence of breast cancer in the U.S. with over 5,000 Massachusetts women diagnosed annually? Komen Massachusetts needs YOU as a part of our crusade to end breast cancer forever.
Please help in anyway that you can. No donation is too small. Together we can make a difference. Thank you.
More treatment. More research. More survivors. A cure.
