The Pax Arctica North Pole expedition 2011 in partnership with Green Cross International http://gci.ch/ will give a chance to a few adults and one teenager to experience this wonder of the world and communicate on the dramatic changes affecting the Arctic in general and the North Pole region in particular (http://www.paxarctica.org/index.html).
We wil have the opportunity to meet with a few scientists while in the north pole region and may assist in several ways: collect water/atmospheric samples, GPS measurements, photography/video, installation of equipment, etc.
We will leave Barneo (the temporary Russian-operated base camp) on April 7th to the North Pole for approximately 10 days.
