The mission of Peace Peddlers is to reduce the negative expression of conflict by mobilizing and deploying resources for conflict resolution training and conflict interventions. Our vision is to create peaceful and conscientious societies. We accomplish this by developing the capacity of individuals, organizations, and communities throughout the U.S. to peacefully manage and resolve conflict. We work to develop as fully as possible the financial, human, and material resources, both governmental and voluntary, needed to meet the conflict resolution needs of communities, and reduce the multiplicity of appeals for resources. We deploy resources so as to maximize conflict resolution programs and services aimed at K–12 schools and communities. We assist in the development of new or the expansion or modification of existing conflict resolution training programs, promote conflict resolution activities; and foster cooperation among local, state, and national agencies serving communities. We muster support and commitment for Peace Peddlers through a systematic communications program which both speaks and listens to communities. We offer assistance to organizations wishing to improve their capacity for conflict resolution training and conducting conflict interventions.
