Mission Statement:

The Project to End Human Trafficking works toward the prevention and elimination of trafficking in persons through awareness raising, direct service coordination, capacity building and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Check out our website for a more in depth look at everything PEHT.

We are a small, volunteer based, organization in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We also have a branch in Washington, D.C. and are currently working to develop and support a branch in Mukono, Uganda. However our outreach effort, which includes awareness presentations, special trainings, consultations, networking, coalition building, and survivor support, has extended throughout the United States and the globe.

Our current projects include:

  • First Response: Victim-Centered Advocacy
  • Service Navigation and Coordination for Victims and Survivors
  • General awareness and specialized training
  • Coalition building
  • Developing a branch in Mukono, Uganda
  • Raising funds to sponsor 5 survivors of human trafficking in Uganda to compete their education

All of our projects are funded through grants or donations from passionate and caring organizations and individuals of the community. As our organization is completely volunteer based, 100% of donations go directly to project support such as outreach and education efforts, coalition building, victim services, and survivor support.

*Carlow University currently provides fiscal sponsorships to The Project to End Human Trafficking (PEHT). Funds raised here for will be allocated to PEHT.
