Boxeo Es Vida
Organized by: Deborah Basora
Hi, I'm Deborah Basora,
I'm going to start by telling you little bit of my story. I am a cheerful, friendly and sincere woman, as well as a mother of two beautiful boys. I am from Isabela and Cataño Puerto Rico but today I live in Hartford, CT. My interest in boxing started when I was 14 years old. I started practicing this sport with my brothers and friends from the neighborhood at the Nelson Lasalle Recreation and Sports Center in Isabela, Puerto Rico. After I became a mother at an early age, I could not continue but never gave up on my dream.
Two years ago, I decided to practice boxing again so I could compete as amateur female boxer. I am currently developing my skills in the field of Boxing at theHartford Boxing Center gym. I have had the opportunity to compete in different boxing tournaments such as The Women's Olympic Cup in PR, Wilfredo Gomez Tournament in PR, Ring Side Tournament in Missouri being semi-Champion in those Tournaments. As of today I am the Champion of (FM 141) in the Western New England Golden Gloves 2017. I plan to continue competing in several National Level tournaments.
Unfortunately, I do not have enough financial resources to cover the expenses that this sport brings such as Travel, Lodging, ect. I am reaching out to each and one of you, in hopes that any donation made will help me reach my goal.
Any amount will be appreciated, whatever your heart dictates. $ 1, $ 2 or $ 3 I trust in God and in me to continue what I already started. I promise not to give up and keep fighting to get to the top.
Thanks for all your support and your donation will be greatly appreciated. Please follow me on Facebook @ Debbie Basora and
