Pet Bereavement Counseling Training Tuition
Organized by: Laura Morgan
I have experienced bereavement for a beloved pet too many times and know personally the incredible grief that comes with the loss of a best friend, companion, "fur baby", "fur child", soulmate. I believe that I am extremely capable of reaching out with my own unique insights to help others who are experiencing this kind of grief and loss. In order to provide the best advice, counseling and truly help those who are suffering the loss of their pet, I know it is necessary to receive the proper training and go through the certification process that this unique field of counseling requires. Unfortunately there is a tremendous shortage of counselors who specialize in helping those who grief their animal friends. No one should have to grief alone. No on should be ashamed of their grief for their pet. I want to be the one who people turn to when the grief overwhelms them and they need a professional yet loving and compassionate person to help them in their time of need. Any and all funds I receive will go directly to pay for the APLB certification program cost, books and other learning resources, as well as help me finish up my Bachelors degree in Psychology. There are numerous online courses specializing in grief that I would benefit from and enhance my education as well.
