BENEFITING: Pet Safe Coalition, Inc.
EVENT DATE: Jan 12, 2013
HOURS PLEDGED: 30
EIGHT WEEKS since Sandy pounded the East Coast on October 25, 2012, PET SAFE COALITION continues to care for 70 animals made homeless, yet are still gathered safely in the gym at Mitchel Field on Long Island...which roughly means that 70 families do not yet have a home that is safe or pet-friendly enough to reclaim their beloved animals. Eight weeks is about FOUR TIMES the average animal rescue/shelter deployment, yet Pet Safe staff and volunteers are still supporting these animals 24/7. PLEASE DONATE HERE and help Pet Safe obtain EVEN MORE ADDITIONAL funds from FireFox. Throughout Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year, Pet Safe volunteers have supported the pets of people who have lost everything and STILL have no permanent housing yet in 2013 so that they can be reunited with their pets, who are well and safe only thanks to your donations. Pet Safe has been assisting animal victims of disasters in Nassau County since 2005. All donations go to maintaining these animals, since Pet Safe shelter care has been provided by highly-trained, pet lovin' volunteers from all over the U.S.A., giving up their vacation and holidays to keep the animals of Sandy survivors safe, warm, fed and loved. For more info, go to petsafecoalition.org, or Pet Safe Coalition on FB. THANKS!
