Peyton's Cancer Surgery

Peyton is a 6-year-old golden retriever mix who loves chasing squirrels and rolling around in the grass.
In December 2015, she was diagnosed with cancer after her owners discovered a tumor under her chin. Peyton's tumor appeared just before Thanksgiving and grew quickly. The vet said it was aggressive cancer, but the good news is, that the cancer hasn't spread to her lungs. Surgery was recommended to remove the tumor and surrounding tissue to try to prevent the cancer from spreading.
Peyton's vet is optimistic that the surgery removed her cancer, but unfortunately, the veterinary bills have just piled up. The initial needle biopsy which discovered the cancer was $265, followed by $295 for the surgery and oncology consultations. X-Rays and bloodwork cost $800 and finally, the surgery amounted to $2759. Peyton is recovering from surgery pretty well, though it's admittedly a little funny to see her try to move around in her cone while hopped up on pain meds.
If you've been lucky enough to meet Peyton, you know that she's one of the friendliest dogs out there. She's a "people-dog" in that she adores people. Any new human friends are immediately met with a wagging tail and puppy snuggles. She truly is the sweetest dog and we're doing everything we can to save her.
We've started this campaign to try and offset some of her veterinary bills in the hopes that catching this cancer early and acting quickly will save her life. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
