Peyton's Project (SEB) MUD RUN/WALK/KIDS FUN
EVENT DATE: Oct 25, 2015
Peyton's Mud Run/Walk is a charity event to raise money to support kids with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) through research as well as quality of life adaptive equipment. Peyton was diagnosed at the age of 6 with this aggressive, terminal, disease that attacks the muscles at an accelerated rate. The majority are in wheelchairs by middle school and the life expectancy is short. This disease is on the brink of finding drugs to slow the progression and eventually cure this disease. This is a very expensive disease to research and to have, sending a lot of families into financial ruin. These kids deserve a fighting chance and Peyton's Project was formed to improve the quality of life for all boys with DMD. The course is wheel chair accessible.
