BENEFITING: City of Hope
We Run For Hope – to Cure Cancer
On January 18, 2015 thousands of runners will participate in one of Arizona’s most popular events – the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon. And, this year for the first time City of Hope – Phoenix will have a team participating in this fun event.
Runners – and Walkers – have the option of signing-up for the full (26.2) half (13.1) 2-person half relay (13.1) or 10K (6.2) race. Our team has the added incentive of running to help cure cancer. Each person on our team will register at the Rock ‘n’ Roll website. ($110 for the full marathon, $100 for the half marathon, $170 for the 2-person half relay or $40 for the 10K race) (http://runrocknroll.competitor.com/arizona/register)
Then, register specifically for our Run for Hope team. Here you will set up your personal fundraising page and share your story – the reason you are running for HOPE.
We ask each participant to set a goal of raising at least $250 – by asking family, friends and colleagues to make a donation on your behalf to help cure cancer. Every participant will receive a Run for Hope microfiber shirt. You will also see incentives that you can earn for achieving various levels of fundraising. Our team goal is to raise $25,000 this first year and we know with your help we will do it!
On the Run for Hope website you will also find training information for runners and walkers of all fitness levels.
Please consider participating or sponsoring an individual or our entire dedicated team who are running to help find a cure for cancer.
