The Story

March 14th is Pie Day for MSA!  #PieDay4MSA

This event began in 2016 with the first annual Pie Day for MSA gathering and fundraiser held in memory of Donna Pitz.  Now we want to take this event global!

It's easy to get involved!  Just gather together friends and family to help bake and enjoy some pies or take it to the next level by inviting your local community to a bake sale.   In exchange for a slice of pie ask for donations to the Multiple System Atrophy Coalition on your own team's Pie Day for MSA Crowdrise page.   All proceeds go automatically to the Multiple System Atrophy Coalition, the leading nonprofit funder of global MSA research.  Compete with other teams to raise the most money!  Spread MSA awareness while having fun!  Post your photos on Social Media with hashtag #PieDay4MSA

Why Pie Day?

On 3.14 the numerical constant known as "Pi" is celebrated around the globe as "Pi Day".  As an avid baker and lover of all thing "Pi", Donna Pitz would go all out every year on Pi Day.   She would gather a group together to bake, share stories and enjoy many different PIES.   Sadly, after several years of living with the diagnosis of Multiple System Atrophy, Donna could no longer bake the pies herself but she still hosted, helped and directed the pie baking in the kitchen.

Join us in carrying on this tradition and making Pie Day for MSA a global event during March - Multiple System Atrophy Awareness Month!

Please join the Multiple System Atrophy Coalition this March and help raise funds to increase research as well as to provide support and education resources for patients, care partners and families affected by this devastating neurodegenerative disease.

Help us spread Multiple System Atrophy Awareness around the globe!
