Summertime hunger is a real issue for kids. When the last school bell rings to signal summer vacation, it also signals the hungriest season of the year for children. Without access to the free and reduced-price meals they count on, many kids won’t have enough to eat at home this summer.
The Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is one of nearly 100 organizations raising funds, food and volunteering for Food Lifeline, to help fill this gap.
