Partners in Health Engage at Vanderbilt is very excited to be a part of the national PIH Engage fundraising campaign, "We Will Deliver," this November. We are fundraising for the expansion of the Pleebo Health Center in Liberia as part of our long-term goal to reach a zero maternal mortality rate there. You can read more about this here: http://www.pih.org/country/liberia. The money you help us raise will specifically fund maternal health supplies, 7 more postpartum beds, 3 more delivery beds, and the expansions of the family consult room, antenatal room, and staff capacity. Any amount could make a huge impact on the community in Liberia. Just $15 covers the cost of a Mama Baby Kit, which encourages safe-facility based births and decreases the maternal mortality rate.
Thank you very much for your time and support. We are very excited to join together with you to improve maternal and child health!
Our Goal: $16,000
