Hello everyone! We are three brothers belonging to the national fraternity "Pi Kappa Phi". As brothers of this fraternity, we have created our own national philanthropy as well called Push America. Our daily goal is to help raise awareness for people with disabilities whether it would be physical, mental, psychological. To help raise awareness, separate chapters nation-wide hold their own events on campus to raise this awareness by accepting donations. Push America also holds its own national events, one of the largest being "Journey of Hope". This national philanthropic event is a 4,000 mile cycling tour starting from either California or Washington state and ending in Washington, D.C. This journey is a hard and challenging 2 month process. It takes hard work and dedication to accomplish this trip as well. During this trip, we make stops at different sites throughout the country that support our cause. At these sites, we spend a day or two having playing activities with people with disabilities. Each day, we will bike up to 100 miles to cover our goal as well. The reason why us three would like to do this mission is because we want to help make a difference and truly challenge our mental strength and capabilities. We appreciate what we have been given and would love to give back to the community. Please help us make this difference so we can have a positive impact on someone's life. The money that we need to raise allows us to participate in this event ($5,500 dollars each). This helps cover our travel expenses and food. If you would like more information please feel free to access this web address which has all the information about Journey of Hope.
