BENEFITING: MALARIA NO MORE
In May 2011, Pike Electric is embarking on a two-year project to erect 66,000 utility poles across rural and urban communities in Tanzania, bringing energy to millions of families—but it’s also putting a stake in the ground against a deadly disease. Pike is determined to use its presence to raise awareness about the dangers of malaria.
Pike is joining Malaria No More and the Zinduka! Malaria Haikubaliki ("Wake up! Malaria in Unacceptable!") campaign to support in-country education about the disease and raise funds for malaria programs in Africa. Pike is bringing energy to families in the regions of Mwanza, Tanga, Dodoma, Mbeya, and Iringa—and as Pike teams move through the country, they will bring Zinduka! programs and messages to each community to help Tanzania shine a light on the opportunity to end malaria deaths once and for all.
Join Pike and donate to the fight against malaria in Tanzania TODAY.
Together, we have the POWER to end malaria!
