Provide Plimouth Plantation re-enactors and Pilgrim educators to Pennsylvania Schools! Our Society has raised money for this from its members for over 15 years, but the cost now exceeds what we can manage, so we're asking for your help! Our children need to know what the Pilgrims sacrificed and how they survived which will help them understand how America was discovered and settled. Did you know that the Mayflower Compact was considered when the U.S. Constitution was written? Do you know anything about the Signers of the Mayflower Compact or why they signed it? Who was Priscila Mullens? Did you know John Howland fell overboard during a storm and how he miraculously survived? This is just a fraction of the knowledge we want to share with kids today! Re-enactors come in period costume and have a persona of a Pilgrim from about 1627 to teach the children about life at Plymouth Rock!
