I have a dream, but this is not about me. My dream is to become a Pilot, but my country and family is who this dream is for.
My home and heart is in Uganda. Uganda has about 34 million people, of that almost 70% are in poverty.I am not here in the United States to become an American. I am here to become a Pilot because this will open many opportunities for me to transport goods to Uganda and use my capitalism to make many changes for the better for the lives in my home community.
Because of your help and many others, I came to the United States a little over a year ago in February 2014 to start my Commercial Pilot License courses. I have done over 150 hours of flight time, got my private pilot's license and instrument rating that allows me to fly in any weather. My experiences here have been amazing and I have almost reached this dream, but the cost has me at a stand still. I am asking for your help to cross the finish line -
I just have 40 hours of my flight training and expenses to get back to Uganda and begin making the changes that we need.
Please watch my video and learn more about the change we can and will make, one flight at a time.
I hope to personally thank all of you - Pilot Armstrong
