Pine Bluff High School Parent Teacher Organization
Organized by: PBHS PTO
EVENT DATE Apr 21, 2016
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Pine Bluff High School is having a “Bond for Funds” event Thursday, April 21. Several community members and PBSD personnel will be “detained,” which means their family, friends, church members, students, Facebook acquaintances, etc will have to bond them out of Pine Bluff High School Jail (Media Center).
Make your donation in support of one of the following "detainees"
Tonya Colen-GT Coordinator
Rev Glen Barnes
Rev Kevin Crumpton
Capt Thaddeus Handley
Rev Robert Handley
Principal Kim West
Detainees will be doing “hard time” in the name of helping Pine Bluff High School’s dedicated teachers. They will be provided a few amenities: a hard (possibly uncomfortable) chair to sit and wait, along with bread and water for nourishment.
They will be allowed to keep their cell phones! Once bond is fully paid, they will be set free. Bond has been set in the amount of $250. This is a fun and light-hearted event that will raise money to assist PBHS teachers with extra things they need, and to show them appreciation for their dedicated work with our children. For example, the PTO recently provided teachers with pizza during Parent-Teacher Conferences. In addition, Teacher Appreciation Week is approaching in May and the PTO is working toward providing them with breakfast one morning. This event is sponsored Pine Bluff School District PTO, and not that of the Pine Bluff School District.
