BENEFITING: MAC PACT INC
Pitolisant has been approved in Europe for the treatment of narcolepsy and cataplexy. We believe that it has the potential to be extremely beneficial for individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Unlike other promising drugs in phase II and phase III trials, it has been approved in Europe and will be available this fall. We have a two-step plan to accelerate the connection between pitolisant and PWS.
1) Systematically gather data on the clinical experience of individuals with PWS who have taken pitolisant. To that end, we have a handful of families currently gathering baseline data in advance of traveling to Europe to receive pitolisant.
2) Hire a Chief Medical Officer who will work tirelessly to provide access to this drug in the United States as soon as possible.
We need $100,000 to accomplish these things.
