BENEFITING: The Barbara Stone Foundation
The Barbara Stone Foundation has selected twelve dreams of people with special needs and disabilities in Greenville County as part of our Plant A Dream efforts. The dreamers all participate in some type of programming funded by the Foundation throughout Greenville County. Many of these dreams would never have materialized without the stimulation and exposure to new subjects and activities that the programming introduces into the participants' lives. For instance, would Lamont ever had realized he had a passion for ballet without the influence of International Ballet?
These twelve dreams represent just a few of the countless dreams we hope to encourage and nourish with the help of your support! They include dreams of survival, acceptance, achievement, happiness, normalcy, and fulfillment. We work with many groups and agencies in our community to help improve the lives of residents with disabilities. The needs are many. There are other Rachels, Sarahs, and Henrys who need help. Donate today to help make dreams come true for our friends and neighbors with special needs and disabilites.
We'll be celebrating these dreams along with the impact of the Barbara Stone Foundation in our local community at the inaugural Plant A Dream Soiree on March 4, 2017, from 6 to 10 pm at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts. Tickets are $75 and include appetizers, 4-course meal, beer, wine, signature cocktail, and entertainment. Hope to see you there! For more information visit www.plantadream.info.
