The B.A.T.I. School team will be traveling to Haiti on April 11th to plant 300 fruit trees on the school’s campus. The cost to plant one tree is $35 dollars, it takes approximately 2-3 years for each tree to mature. The harvested fruit will be sold to generate income for the continued development of the school’s campus for years to come. You can select the type of tree that you would like us to plant: Mango, Orange or Avocado.
B.A.T.I. seeks to provide a nurturing yet demanding learning environment that fosters both high academic achievement and a sense of responsibility. Since Haiti has abundant natural resources, we believe that agriculture can be a critical tool to help the girls of our school and Haiti at large, creating a stronger, wealthier and more independent future. In this process, the self-respect, creativity and confidence they develop will make them an example for the next generation of Haitian leaders.
