I'm a native Kansan. Whenever the Westboro Church of Topeka, Kansas hits the road for another hate tour, I have cringed. I have cringed for many reasons that others have cringed when they hear that this church celebrates the deaths of soldiers who they accuse of defending gay Americans. I cringe when they advocate the death penalty for gay Americans. But I also cringe because I'm proud to be a native Kansan. I'm just not proud to be from the same state as the Westboro Church. And then along comes Equality House which promotes a message of love and equality for all, which is the exact opposite of what Westboro promotes. I hope that my friends and family will join me in supporting Equality House by making a contribution that matches your commitment to supporting the message of Equality House.
