September 14, 2016

My son, Daniel is autistic and has aspergers syndrome. He is 18. He and I were recently displaced and when I went to find shelter for us he went to the mall to get wifi. He is great on the internet which blows me away, however he is also very easily persuaded to do anything anyone says. He likes to be social so it's easy to get my son to do anything. Unfortunately, this trait has now led him down a bad road and he's afraid and alone. He met someone off a site called and he was coerced to travel to another town approximately 100 miles from where we live. Whom ever he met that day, a month ago, took him there and for 14 days I heard nothing from my son, I was thinking the worst and then I received a call, my son is alive and in jail, facing 2 felonies! He also wrote a letter to a friend professing his fear of his health as he is loosing weight daily. He has heart problems and metal rods in his back for scoliosis. He HAS TO BE ON A SPECIAL DIET FOR THOSE THINGS, the jail staff is not providing this. I've called many bondsman, they won't touch the bond because my son lives in another county. I have to come up with the full $3500.00 to get him out. I have not been able to get anywhere with the clerk of court there. I'm worried the courts are unaware of my son's condition and are treating him as if he is like any other criminal. I don't even know the nature if his alleged crimes. Please, I'm desparate and afraid my child will perish in that place. He is supposed to be on medication. He mentioned in the letter he is not being fed right and they are not giving him his heart medication. Please help Daniel Shane come home. God bless.
