PLEASE READ>>>>>>How excited we are to find out our son has been accepted into College. Our son Travis Weaver was born with a very rare case of Muscular Dytrophy (mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation musclua myopathy) to be exacte. Like other kids and adults he has practically lived in a hospital, surgery after surgery. Been Bullied time and time again. Most parents with these special kids can tell you every year the doctors tells them your son has only one more year to live. We have heard this since he was one born till he was 18. He has beated the odds, his dream has always been to go to college and help invent technology to help others like him and it looks like that dream is coming true. He graduated highschool when he was 15 years old, always excelling in school. He is beyond unbelivable on a computer, which is his chosen field. As much as we were overcome with joy with finding out he qualifed for Financial Aid paying for his classes, we soon discovered that he would need a certain computer with the special Handicaped peripherals in order to complete his school work. I did not realize how much they charge disablity people for these accessories they have to have them just to be able to attend classes and do their school work. Its really a crime and very dishearting to see the prices on these things, so a friend of mine suggested a Go fund Me. I thought this is my only option to try and see if he could get some help this way. We are not a family that poor mouths and tries to get freebies so to speak. Any amount you could give to my son for this equiment or toward this computer would help, even one dollar. It all adds up. I have tried through other organizations with no reply, help or to be put on a year waiting list. He starts school in June 2016. From the bottom of my heart thank you for donating or even your prays absolutly helps. Please share this ! From our family to yours God bless you and Thank you. (please excuse any typos) Im no where near as smart as my son. Thanks again, XOXOXOX
