Organized by: Srinivas Akkapalli
ABOUT OUR FAMILY
My name is Srinivas Akkapalli and My wife's name is Santha Kumari Akkapalli. We have three children. We are from a lower-middle class family. I'm not even able to work because my health is not at all good. So My elder son needs financial support for his Education to reach his goal.
ABOUT MY SON
My elder son's name is Abhishek Goud Akkapalli. Currently, he is studying XII class at Ravi Junior College, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India. In his childhood...He first joined a private school, Vigyana Bharathi, where he studied L.K.G. and then due to lack of financial stability, we moved to Hyderabad and returned to Kakinada after about 3 years. Due to financial problems & lack of a job, we coudln't send him to school for the whole period. Later, he was admitted in a Government High School where he studied for 5 years from VI to X. Although he couldn't study 2nd, 4th & 5th grades, he moved on in a good way and graduated from high school with 9.3/10 G.P.A. Then he joined a private college nearby, named Ravi Junior College, where he is studying XII at present. He has scored 460/470 marks in the XI Public Examinations & then got 4 more marks in the betterment examination that followed in the next month. With 464/470 marks, he has stood as college topper and has stood at state 4th rank in Andhra Pradesh.
Physics is his favorite subject and he wants to go for a career in Physics after XII and become a physicist. But it's too difficult to me to educate my son upto Ph.D or even M.Sc in Physics. In this hyper-competitive world, it's difficult to reach the goal especially with financial status like ours. So, unless we have the ability to pay for his higher education, it's impossible for him to reach his goal of becoming a physicist.
We could not even pay tution fee in the junior college. We need to pay up to Rs.150,000 for tution fee and books. And also need up to Rs.1,000,000 for further studies. I hope someone helps us financially & helps him reach his goal. Thank you!
