help my Pre-K Special Education Title 1 class!

THE STORY:

I am a Pre- K teacher for students with disabilities. Our campus is Title 1. To assist with tracking goals, I would like to purchase an iPad.
My students are three and four and are in my classroom for intervention (to help their development so they can be successful in life). I do not grade papers or give tests. This age group learns so fast and they take everything in. I 'grade' them by writing goals and objectives for them and tracking them. I teach them academics, independent functioning, social and emotional skills, fine motor, and gross motor skills. My students have shown tremendous growth in the last month.
About a week ago, we were given access to another web based data tracking system. There are requirements that need to be met with the new data system (example- show proof of the child playing with another child by taking a picture and uploading it). I can use the iPad to take immediate anecdotal notes (observations) of the progress and then upload.
Teachers in special education classroom spend a lot of time completing mandatory paperwork and analyzing data. I was told my a coworker that an iPad will make this easier.
