The Quetzal Project Team
The project is fortunate to be comprised of 11 volunteers that are donating their time and experience to assure that the project is successful and that goals are accomplished. The volunteers are a mixture of retired expats with over 20 years as residents in country and local Costa Rican teachers and Church Volunteers.
* Our team includes:
* Computer engineer with over 30 years International experience.
* Computer instructors.
* English teachers.
* Church Volunteers.
* Internet access expert.
* Transportation team.
The Quetzal Project will place twenty five computers and Kolbi Internet Flash Drives in the Brunca villages. This will represent one computer for every one hundred individuals. The QP will also conduct weekly classes in computer training in each village. This training will be conducted by volunteers from the local schools in the Perez Zeledon area. Once the basic classes are complete, the students will be able to advance to the next level and experience all that the world has to offer. We have a community based meals program that cooks twice weekly to help the Boruca.
If you wish to help with volunteer assistance please contact us and we would be delighted to speak with you regarding how you can help. Even if you cannot help with funding, please say a little prayer for these wonderful people. God Bless You!
