Please Help the Johnson Family Today
Organized by: Help the Johnsons Fund
The family of Jeff and Ann Johnson of River Falls, WI includes their thirteen year old son, Nathan and their Newfoundland dog, Tank. In January 2014, Jeff was diagnosed with terminal Stage IV esophageal cancer that has metastasized to his liver and bones. Since then he has bravely endured severe pain, repeated hospitalizations, emergency room visits and challenging rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. In spite of these heroic efforts, Jeff’s condition continues to be extremely serious. Jeff and Ann, who are self employed in their salon shear sharpening and sales business, have been able to work only sporadically over these past months and have even had to turn away several clients, while their medical and living expenses continue to mount. In addition, the Johnsons were in the middle of an extensive home remodel at the time of Jeff’s diagnosis. Jeff, who is a great do-it-yourselfer, has been unable to work on these projects. While extended family members have put in many hours to get their home to a point where Jeff and his family can live comfortably, this has been another source of expenses for the Johnsons.
Those of us who know the Johnsons have long appreciated their love for one another, the joy they find in family and their cheerfulness and good humor. Now, as they are faced with serious challenges, we have the opportunity to show our love for them by doing what we can to ease their financial burdens. After all, Tank is a really big dog and he needs a lot of dog food! Please do what you can to assist. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated. Please share this as widely as you can.
