BENEFITING: Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra
Why would a 12-year-old kid want to support the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for his Bar Mitzvah project? Simple!
Going to the symphony is a lot of fun, and it's great experience for so many people. The PSO helps the economy—it makes people want to live here. And there wouldn't be as much music education in Pittsburgh if it weren't for the PSO. That's why I chose to support the PSO for my Bar Mitzvah project.
I started my original Pogo for the PSO project to support the PSO Musicians when they went on strike in 2016. Before the strike ended, I raised more than $2000, which I then gave to the Pittsburgh Symphony.
The strike may be over, but the PSO still needs money, and I want to help out! Please make a tax-deductible donation to show how much you value world-class music and the arts in Pittsburgh and around the world. Thanks!
PS: I'm also personally going to donate half of the money I get for my Bar Mitzvah, but I hope I reach my goal long before then!
