Think about where you would be today if you didn't receive the education you have.
I was introduced to a great charity supporting my passion working with children, in particular girls and young woman, by a mentor of mine last year. I recently made the commitment to raise $9,000 to support this charity, Empower Nepali Girls http://www.empowernepaligirls.org/
The Empower Nepali Girls mission is to empower and support neglected, marginalized, and at-risk girls and young women in Nepal, especially those who are at greatest risk to be forced into early marriage, sold into the sex trade, or abandoned as orphans. They provide scholarships, mentoring, career guidance, and subsistence for children who would not have the opportunity to attend school and pursue future careers in medicine, engineering, business, teaching, and other professions.
ENG now supports over 200 scholarship recipients who receive all the necessities they require, including uniforms, supplies, books, shoes and fees paid.
I encourage you to visit the Empower Nepali Girls website to see how this great charity empowers and supports these girls and young women in Nepal. You can meet the girls in the program, see the impact of your donation, and learn more about Nepal. I also hope the videos make as much of an impression on you as they did on me, and I am personally invested in seeing these children succeed through education.
If I reach my fundraising goal, I have the opportunity to travel to Nepal and work directly with the girls my fundraising efforts will support.
Thank you for supporting my fundraising efforts and learning about this invaluable foundation.
