We're raising money to launch Play on Purpose (POP). Play on Purpose is an organization with a bullseye target to care for children and families all around the World by giving everyday activities like work and play purpose by providing Something for the Kids + Something for the Parents + Something for the World.
Our mission is to open POP Centers, which will provide a collaborative supervised, enrichment play space for children and shared work and lounge space for parents and caregivers, which will then redirect 100% of the profits of the POP Center to the Play on Purpose Foundation, who will give aid to families and children in need all over the World, specifically (1) anti-human trafficking intatives, (2) local human services, helping the homeless, poor and marginalized, (3) adoptive aid, supporting adoptive families and birth mothers, helping every child find their forever family and (4) third-world childcare, enabling food, clean drinking water, medicine and other basic needs to children.
No board members or investors will be offered stock options or the promise of a big buyout. No CEO will be making an outlandish salary. We'll keep our operating expenses low so that the maxium amount of POP Centers' members' fees can be redirected to causes with purpose. We'll even find other ways to cover our costs so that the maximum amount of money will be given away. We will depend on private donors, foundations and sponsors to cover everything from staff salaries to playspace equipment, venue rentals and utilities.
Play on Purpose was founded by Tyler and Crystal Tullos, parents of three children, along with their church, StoryHeights Church, of Boston, MA. We're a community of tenacious people who want to do more than just talk about change. Our mission is to aid children and families all around the World by giving everyday activities like work and play purpose.
We thank you in advance for joining us in funding our lease campaign. This specific fundraiser will help us secure a lease in Newton, MA, for 12 months, enabling us to open our doors and start generating revenue for worthwhile charities.
