THE STORY:

I wanted to share with you some exciting things that are happening in the Poplar Bluff High School Honor Choir. Our choir is growing. This year, we have almost 50 students in concert choir, which is 15 more than we have had the last couple of years. Not only are we growing, but we are also getting better. Each year, more of our choir members are making All-District and All-State Choir, and more are taking solos and ensembles to district contest. Because of all our hard work, we have been asked to travel to New York and perform at the Statue of Liberty! This is where we need your help. We, of course, want all of our students to be able to participate in this amazing opportunity. Families are contributing what they can, but we are also counting on our community. We have approximately fifty students in our Honor Choir. It will cost around $1,200 for each student. This cost includes meals, travel, lodging and some cultural experiences. Please consider making a donation or perhaps allowing us to do a fundraising event with your business.
