The Story

EVENT DATE: May 28, 2016

FUNDRAISER SET UP DEADLINE: Jun 01, 2016

Paws On Parade is a fundraiser to benefit High Sierra Animal Rescue and help save more homeless pets.  It is a one-day, fun event for your family, including your dog, on Saturday, May 28, 2016, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.  PAWS ON PARADE consists of the Walk to Save Homeless Pets and the Family Festival.  It is also an opportunity for past adopters to come with their adopted dogs, reunite with High Sierra Animal Rescue and raise money and awareness for homeless pets in need.

The Walk to Save Homeless Pets unites the entire community in a display of combined strength and dedication in High Sierra Animal Rescue’s mission. While there is no fee to register, each participant is expected to fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness.  All participants that raise a minimum of $100 will receive a free event t-shirt.

When you participate in the Walk to Save Homeless Pets, your fundraising dollars fuel High Sierra Animal Rescue's mission-related initiatives of care, health support and search for loving forever homes. In addition, your actions, both through fundraising and participating in the event, help to change the level of homeless pet awareness in your community. Take the first step to a world with no more homeless pets by joining the Walk to Save Homeless Pets.

The walk will be one mile around the beautiful Mill Pond, in Graeagle, CA.  Check-in and day-of registration will be in the Park and begins at 10:00 am.  All friendly dogs, on a leash, are welcome and encouraged to attend.  This event is rain or shine.
