Myself, Jared Frandsen, Collin Petrun and several other yet to be appointed officers are starting a 501(c)(3) non profit organization 'The Portneuf River Alliance'. Our objective is to restore respect and dignity to our river. Our mission, first and foremost is to clean up the trash and implement measures to manage the trash problem such as signage and more trash can locations. All proceeds from this particular fundraiser will go to providing lunch for the volunteers and purchasing required materials for our first River Cleanup Event taking place on Sat, 17 Sept 2016 and the registration costs of the Portneuf River Alliance (as it's not yet been officially registered). Any remaining funds will go into the organization's bank account for future projects and river cleanup events. Rest assured you're donations will be used wisely and honestly. All of our financials will be publicly posted on our website PortneufAlliance.com with complete transparency so you can see exactly where your money is going. Most of all, almost immediately you will be able to see the tangible and positive impact your donations have on our river. Your help getting our organization and first river cleanup launched is genuinely appreciated.
