BENEFITING: U S CENTER FOR CITIZEN DIPLOMACY INC
EVENT DATE: Dec 15, 2010
“Congratulations on a brilliant conference! It struck all the right notes and greatly enriched the backdrop against which we will all work in the future.”
“From my perspective, the lasting impact of the Summit is what happened during the planning phase and will start to create outcomes in the months to come—networks were created, new questions were asked and the community grew. Thank you for organizing this important event.”
“Every aspect of the event was thoughtfully conceived and expertly executed. Your efforts will have a profoundly positive effect on the work that [my organization], and the hundreds of other like-minded organizations do.”
As we approach year end, our collective challenge now and the key to the success of the summit and initiative is to carry this momentum into 2011 and continue to take action to grow citizen diplomacy organizations, initiatives and programs, toward our goal of doubling the number of U.S. citizen diplomats by 2020.
You can help us raise $10,000 to cover costs related to the summit and moving the initiative forward by making a donation or purchasing sports memorabilia donated by the NFL Players Association.
By popular demand, we are also renewing our year end citizen diplomacy certificate of recognition program. Perhaps you know someone in your organization or met someone at the summit who truly impressed you; each of us has a friend or family member who demonstrates citizen diplomacy in their work or volunteer efforts every day with little recognition.
When you make a donation of $25 or more to the USCCD in honor of a citizen diplomat or organization by Dec. 31, we will send a certificate of recognition from the USCCD to the person or organization you choose with a letter acknowledging your gift. For a donation of $45 or more, the recipient will also receive an orange USCCD 1G USB flash drive. It is a great way to encourage the actions of an exemplary citizen diplomat you know while supporting the USCCD.
