GIVE AND GET INVOLVED!
Support women who need #HarmReduction programs and advocacy, by sharing our campaign and donating today. Help us reach our ambitious goal of $6,000! See below for our #GivingTuesday specials.
- Donors of ANY amount can directly share a message of encouragement in a chapbook being assembled for our incarcerated clients!
- Donors of $100 or more will be invited to a small group, behind-the-scenes tour of our harm reduction program and hear from our staff and clients!
- Donors of $300 or more will be offered a 1.5 hour group training or facilitated discussion led by Jacqueline Robarge, on trauma-informed care, cultural sensitivity, or Harm Reduction 101 for your church, organization, club, sorority, or business! (In-person, Baltimore region only)
Thanks you in advance for your support.
ABOUT OUR CAMPAIGN:
We are asking for contributions so that we can buy supplies for our harm reduction street outreach and drop-in programs.
Every year, as Autumn transitions to Winter, our concerns turn to our members' basic survival. During the colder months of the year, we distribute blankets, gloves, hats, coats, socks, bus tokens, and food to help women make it through. We also provide counseling and referrals to assist women in unsafe situations. Options are not always available, so some will spend the entire winter in abandoned houses or moving from place to place.
While we appreciate donations of practical goods; we often have to buy things. This fundraiser is for those things we need to buy. With monetary donations we can also purchase unanticipated items like reading glasses, asthma pumps, prescription co-pays, greyhound bus tickets, or baby formula throughout coming the year.
