THE STORY: On Saturday night (6:58pm) a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the coast of Ecuador and generated over 315 replicas between the cities of Pedernales and Cojimies (north of the coastal province of Manabí). At this time, death toll jumps to at least 507; 107 people are missing, and more than 4,500 have been injured. Thousands of others are directly affected, having lost their homes and sources of income. We are a group of young people chosen for their ability to generate change, launched a crowd funding campaign on April 17th to gather support from the national and international community. We committed to investing ourselves fully to maximize the potential impact of this platform. We all came to United States with a dream, and for us It was difficult when we hear about our country. Now as students from Western Iowa Tech Community College started a relief program to save as many lives as we can. Your support will be crucial throughout this long recovery process. Please remember to pray for the people of Ecuador as they face this disaster. Ask for healing for the hurting, comfort for those who have lost loved ones, and for salvation for those who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ. Lets open our hearts and save lives.
