Thank you to all the wonderful people that have donated! I will be thinking of you all this Sunday, as I run, crawl, hike, and jump my way to the finish line. Your generosity is my strength.
On Sunday, September 27th, I will crawl through 10 miles of mud, breath in homemade tear gas, be mildly electrocuted, and dropped into a tank of ice water. And I'm paying for the privilege. Why? Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of September 11, 2001. People! I want to be out there on the course, covered in blood and sweat, thinking of the kindness, support, and community that my pain represents. Knowing that you've all helped raise money for this great cause would help me push through that pain, and even smile despite it. Help me spread the word. Tell your friends they can put up some cash and see me snake through mud under a canopy of razor wire; inform your family that their donation means I promise to keep going no matter how many vomits; etc. And most of all, thank you! - Preston
