BENEFITING: Rural Veterinary Outreach
We hear about it all too often. Someone's beloved pet has been brought to animal shelter or had to be put down because they couldn't afford to take them to a vet when they got sick-- especially when facing the cost of a necessary surgery. Rural Veterinary Outreach's Dr. Ken Brown has been providing free and low cost veterinary care to those in need since founding Rural Veterinary Outreach last year. RVO has treated 50 animals (dogs, cats, goats, horses, sheep, even pigs!) who's owners could not afford it, otherwise. Unfortunately, many cases require surgery performed with anesthetic gas and the administration of oxygen. Without an anesthesia machine, Dr. Ken must refer cases to veterinarians more equipped but their cost for services is ofter beyond what these loving pet owners can afford. Help Dr. Ken help more animals! An anethesia machine will not only enable more life saving care but will also facilitate the addition of free and low-cost spay/neuter surgeries to Rural Veterinary Outreach's list of services. We have several quotes and a quality portable machine for our mobile until along with all the needed supplies will cost $3,750. Can you help us meet our goal?
