BENEFITING: Princeton AlumniCorps
WHAT IS THE PRINCETON ALUMNICORPS EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM?
Princeton AlumniCorps is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1989 by a group of visionary alumni to promote civic engagement in the public interest. AlumniCorps does not receive funding from Princeton University and relies on the support of individual donors, foundations and corporations to fulfill its mission.
The Princeton AlumniCorps Emerging Leaders program equips the next generation of social sector leaders with the skills, confidence, and approaches necessary to be highly effective change agents. Emerging Leaders are passionate about important public issues and work with organizations that are making real change in New York and Washington, DC. This professional development program propels the nonprofit sector’s future leaders forward in their careers and builds the capacity of their organizations. It equips aspiring nonprofit leaders from various backgrounds with leadership competencies, hard nonprofit skills, management training, mentoring, peer support, and networking. Emerging Leaders is open to all nonprofit and public interest sector managers, not just alumni of Princeton University.
