A Local Response to International Human Rights Abuse Tax ID 95-4492477

The Program for Torture Victims (PTV) is a direct health and human services agency dedicated to rebuilding the lives of new immigrants, from over 70 countries, who have endured torture and persecution while standing up for freedom, equality, and human dignity. The first human rights health organization of its kind in the United States, PTV has helped heal the physical and psychological wounds of thousands of survivors and their families living in Southern California through integrated health, mental health, and social services. Our ultimate goal is to empower survivors to regain their health, hope, and well-being, and become self-sufficient, contributing leaders in their new communities throughout Southern California.
