Project 99 - Crowdfunding Campaign 2016
Organized by: Josuel Plasencia
The Babson Alumni of the Dominican Republic are leading a crowdfunding campaign to support Project 99!
Learn more about Project 99 by visiting their site 99leaders.org or reading the description below. It is co-founded by two Dominican rising seniors at Babson that are passionate about creating a more inclusive society in the Dominican Republic and abroad (Yulkendy Valdez and Josuel Plasencia). The target goal is $1,000 USD raised by June 30th 2016.
Project 99’s mission is to incubate the new face of leadership: Inclusive Entrepreneurs. We believe everyone should put diversity and inclusion in the forefront. That is why we are building a movement to make our global society more inclusive—a society where all kinds of people have access to every opportunity. Our core program is a 3-day leadership simulation that aims to enable diverse groups of millennials (ages 18-34) to learn how to work with, manage, and lead all kinds of people. At the basis of Project 99, we have developed an experiential curriculum, The 99 Framework, which includes a toolkit to foster entrepreneurial and inclusive leadership methodology.
This summer Project 99 is organizing it's second annual hackathon in Santo Domingo. Hosted at Rancho Campeche in Greater Santo Doming from August 13 to the 15. Please note that if you would like to make a company sponsorship instead of an individual sponsorship that is also possible. If this is the case or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
