As a college bound artist, I dedicated my Senior Passages project to giving back to the community that inspired and nurtured my love for the visual arts all these years. My goal is to bring art full circle in Easton, Connecticut.
I have been a volunteer teacher's assistant at the Easton Arts center for 3+ years and have seen the amazing impact of the arts center first-hand. Help us bring hope to the Easton Arts Center after the recent water damage that ruined not only floors and walls of the center, but many student art pieces as well. This place gives confidence and smiles to so many little artists from grades preschool and on.
Keri English, the director of the Easton Arts Center, is one of the most giving and authentic artists I have ever met. It would mean so much to me If I could give back to not only the arts center, but to Keri. Her spirit and constant hard work has kept the arts center so vibrant all these years.
Every donation made will help pay for the supplies necessary to paint a new mural in the renovated arts center over April break. Any extra donations will go toward funding renovations due to the flood that were not covered by insurance.
Please consider purchasing student designed art from artists at Joel Barlow High School on our RedBubble page as well (see below)! All proceeds from art prints and products also help fund this cause. Thank you so much in advance.
