$30. What can it buy? Health. Hope. Happiness. It can literally change a person’s life. Just $30 provides clean drinking water to a person in need*. Let that sink in. Now do it again. And again. Just $30 provides clean drinking water to a person in need. Talk about a return on your investment.
Think about this: If 10,000 people each gave a gift of $30 or more to the Project 30 Campaign, we could fund 30 separate water projects** and thus transform the lives of thousands of people living in different underprivileged schools and communities located in Central America, South America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southern Asia.
As I begin my sophomore year of college, I have made a promise to myself. By the time I graduate (Hoya Saxa), I will have bettered the lives of the people living in these 30 disadvantaged schools and communities. So join me on my journey.
Twenty years ago, this campaign would not have been possible. To be able to touch the lives of those halfway around the world with just the click of a button is nothing short of incredible. Thanks to Charity:Water and the amazing platform of Crowdrise, we have the ability to do just that. That being said, I am fully aware that $300,000 is a lofty goal. But 748 million people don't have access to clean drinking water. And if we’re going to do something good, why not see how far we can take it?
