Project Galveston- Junior Edoimioya
Organized by: Junior Edoimioya
The greatest movements of the gospel in our age have begun with college students who devoted their lives to Christ and asked Him to use them to change the world. I am excited to share with you a great opportunity that I have this summer. I will be going to Galveston, TX with a team of college students from college campuses all across Southeast Texas. The purpose of Project Galveston (PG) is to help students grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We will also be learning how to share our faith with others.
“Come follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”(Mk. 1:17). Project Galveston will last eight weeks and during that time I will receive training in Bible study, prayer, and evangelism through seminars and group Bible studies during the week. Each student is also required to work a full time job (35-40 hours/week) or in my case, an internship. Friendships of a lifetime will be made as we all work together to learn more about the Lord. Project Galveston is sponsored by Campus Outreach Houston, an interdenominational ministry that is involved with colleges throughout the World. Currently, I am trusting God to raise up a team of people who would partner with me in this experience, both in prayer and finances. I would love to have as much support as possible by the beginning of June which is when Project Galveston begins but I'll also take any support I receive throughout the program until August because the total amount will still need to be paid off, even if it requires installing a payment plan. Thank you for your support.
