I'm baaaaack! Why? Because pancreatic cancer continues to take away our loved ones and friends. My work isn't done. I'll continue to make my miles matter by running the 2016 Bank of America Chicago Marathon while fundraising to help raise awareness and funds for this deadly disease.
Marathons are hard, donating is easy!
Thank you all for your continued support to Project Purple! Each dollar makes a difference in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
I am always so honored and touched when a person makes a donation in Honor of/in Memory of someone in their lives. Here is a list of these names that I will carry with me in Chicago:
Daniel J. Trucano (Uncle)
Joseph Cassar (Grandfather)
Phil Johnson (Brother-in-law)
Ron Bowan #werunforron
Rebecca Jane Clemons

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is the pinnacle of achievement for elite athletes and everyday runners alike. On race day, runners from all 50 states and more than 100 countries will set out to accomplish a personal dream by reaching the finish line in Grant Park. Join the Project Purple team, and make that dream a reality as you run with us to beat pancreatic cancer!
Why Project Purple? Pancreatic cancer is the 4th leading cause of cancer related deaths and is projected to be the 2nd by 2020. In spite of these deadly statistics, however, it is the least funded of the top 10 cancer killers. We need to do more - we have lost one too many loved ones to this evil cancer!
Pancreatic cancer doesn't rest, so neither will we! Run with Project Purple, and help us raise awareness and funds towards a cure, early detection methods, and patient financial aid.
